Description
The Bently Nevada 31000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is a rugged mounting and protection assembly used to install non-contact proximity probes (like those in the
Bently Nevada 3300/3300 XL vibration-monitoring systems) through a machine casing. This housing provides a structurally sound and environmentally-sealed
enclosure that allows the proximity probe to be correctly positioned against a rotating shaft while protecting the sensor and cabling from
damage, contaminants, and machine fluids. The assembly also permits external access for setting the
probe-to-target gap or replacing the probe without disassembling the machine.
