Overview
The ABB 3BSE023607R1 TY801K01 Shunt Stick is a voltage measuring relay designed for connecting two power systems together. It supports both synchro-check and voltage-check functions to ensure safe and controlled system integration.
The synchro-check function is used when two separate networks or interconnected network sections are to be connected, allowing the circuit breaker to close only if the voltages on both sides meet preset conditions for magnitude, phase, and frequency difference.
The voltage-check function is used when a disconnected bus or line is to be connected to an energized section of a network, ensuring safe voltage matching before closing.
