The BENTLY 330500-02-CN vibration monitoring sensor is a high-performance and highly reliable piezoelectric speed sensor. It is mainly used for measuring the vibration of bearing housings, shells or structures, and is applicable to online monitoring and protection of large rotating machinery in multiple industries such as power, petroleum, chemical, and metallurgy.
I. Product Characteristics
Working Principle:
Utilizing piezoelectric ceramic crystal technology, an integral circuit is incorporated to convert vibration acceleration into a speed signal output.
When subjected to mechanical vibration impact, the crystal undergoes deformation and generates an electric charge (piezoelectric effect), with the charge quantity being directly proportional to the vibration acceleration. The electric charge signal is converted into a voltage signal proportional to the vibration speed through the integral circuit.
Output Characteristics:
Typical sensitivity: 3.94 mV/mm/s ±5%.
The final output is a low-impedance voltage signal (such as 0–1 Vdc), which can be directly connected to PLC/DCS or the Bentley 3500 monitoring system.
Structural Design:
Solid-state without moving parts, without mechanical wear components, with a longer lifespan than magnetic-electric sensors.
Supports vertical, horizontal, or any angle installation, with no direction restrictions.
316L stainless steel housing, resistant to corrosive environments, with a protection level of IP65.
Electrical Parameters:
Frequency response range: 5–3000 Hz (±0.9 dB@6 Hz–2.5 kHz).
Operating temperature: -55°C to +121°C.
Maximum cable length: 305 meters (shielded double-core cable).

Selection and Ordering
Selection Method:
330500-AA-BB: AA represents the installation threaded joint accessory (e.g. 01 is 1/2-20 UNF, 02 is M8 x 1, etc.); BB represents the certification option approved by the authorized institution for explosion-proof areas (e.g. 00 is not required, 01 is approved in North America, 02 is approved in Europe, etc.).
Common Models:
330500-01-00, 330500-01-CN, 330500-02-00, 330500-02-CN, etc.

Application scenario
Industry Applications:
It is widely used in industries such as power, petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy, pumps, and fans.
It is used for online measurement and protection of the shaft casings of large rotating machinery such as steam turbines, water turbines, blowers, compressors, air separation machines, gearboxes, and pumps. Typical application:
Vibration monitoring of turbine/compressor bearing housings.
Vibration analysis of variable-frequency motor housings (requires anti-interference cables).
Capture of low-speed hydraulic turbine vibrations (with low-frequency response down to 4.5 Hz).
III. Installation and Connection
Installation requirements:
It must be rigidly fixed on the surface of the bearing box/housing to avoid reducing high-frequency response due to gaskets or soft materials.
Double-wound shielded cables (such as 9571 or 84661 types) must be used to reduce the impact of electromagnetic noise.
Connection method:
It can be directly connected to the Bentley 3500/42M vibration monitoring module or 2300/20 transmitter.
The sensor connection cables mainly have two types: 2-core shielded twisted-pair connection cables (standard and armored), 9571 is the standard cable, with a double-joint plug at one end and a terminal at the other; 84661 is an armored cable, with a structure similar to that of the former.
