The primary purpose of the 3500/65 184469-01 Recip Impulse Velocity Monitor is to provide the following:
Machinery protection for reciprocating compressors by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms
Essential reciprocating compressor machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel
The primary purposes of the 3500/65 184469-01 monitor are to provide:
1. machinery protection by continuously comparing monitored parameters against configured alarm set points to drive alarms, and
2. essential machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel.
Each channel, depending on configuration, typically conditions its input signal into various parameters called “static values”. Users can configure Alert setpoints for each active static value and Danger set points for any two of the active static values.

3500/65 16 channel temperature monitoring
The 3500/65 monitor provides sixteen channels for temperature monitoring and receives a resistance temperature detector (RTD) and isolated thermocouple (TC) temperature input.
Monitor the conditions and compare them to the user-programmable alarm set values for these inputs.
The monitoring program USES 3500 rack configuration software.
The software can be configured with 16-channel temperature monitoring that accepts isolated tip thermocouples, 3-wire resistors, 4-wire resistors, or a mixture of them for TC and RTD inputs.
When used in a three-mode redundant (TMR) configuration, the temperature display must be installed adjacent to the other three sets.
In this configuration, the monitor USES two types of voting to ensure accurate operation and avoid a single point of failure.
