Communications Options
The VersaMax Micro and Nano havevarious communications options to meetyour control needs. Each unit has anRS-232 port that can be used for SNPSlave, Modbus RTU Slave, or Serial In/Outcommands. The second port on the 23point and 28 point micro is an RS-485 the port that supports SNP Slave, SNPMaster, Modbus RTU Slave, and SerialIn/Out commands. Modems can easilybe attached to either port. With theSerial I/O commands you can interfaceto devices such as pagers, intelligentscales, bar code readers, and printers.
