The DS200ITXDG1ABA board is marked as a dynamic brake buffer board and is part of the Mark V series manufactured by General Electric. The operations required by the IXTD board are provided through the circuits of the connected power/interface board (IMCP). When the IMCP and IXTD boards are connected, they are linked through a four-pin connector. When installing the circuit board, it will be installed externally and its size must meet the worst switching requirements of the dynamic braking IGBT. The purpose of the buffer plate is to limit the voltage transients on the IGBTs and pass through all known drive operating conditions.

The DS200ITXDG1ABA board has three types of connectors; Busbar I/O connectors, DBPL input connectors and board latch connectors. All these connector types have different pin numbers, terms and descriptions. Busbar I/O connectors and plug-in I/O connectors also have directions. An example of the two pins related to the snap-on I/O connector is the E-6 and E-9 connectors, both of which are output connectors.
