I. Brand and System Ownership
The original research and development brand is MTL, which has now been incorporated into the Eaton Eaton Group; the hardware is compatible with the Honeywell Experion PKS C300 / Series8 S8 DCS system and is specifically used for IO Link bus optical conversion remote extension.
8937-HN2 is a hardware upgrade compatible version of 8937-HN, which can be directly replaced without modification.
Core Functions
IO Link Optical Conversion
Convert the copper cable IO Link electrical signal output by the IOTA base of the C300 controller into optical signals, and then convert them back into electrical signals to be mounted on the S8 series I/O rack, breaking through the original short-distance limitation of copper cables.
Dual Redundant Fiber Optic Transmissions
FO1 and FO2 dual fiber channels, single-line breakage automatically seamless switching, ensuring no interruption of the control loop.
Electrical Isolation Anti-Interference
The fiber completely isolates ground potential difference, inverter harmonics, lightning surge, and is suitable for explosive strong interference factory areas.
Support Hot Swap
Can be disassembled and replaced without stopping the system; the entire machine has G3 three-proof coating, enhancing protection in harsh working conditions.
Panel Status Diagnostic LED
Power, IO Link bus, FO1/FO2 optical link failure indicator lights, quickly locating communication abnormalities.
