The Epro MMS6822 is an industrial-grade fieldbus module designed by a German company. It is mainly used in monitoring and protection systems for rotating machinery such as steam turbines, and it supports functions such as on-site data acquisition, signal processing, and communication.
Core function
Data Acquisition and Signal Processing
Equipped with 2 analog input channels, capable of handling 4-20mA and 0-10V signals, it can connect vibration, displacement and other sensors to collect key parameters of the steam turbine in real time.
It provides 2 digital input channels (supporting dry contacts or ordinary switches) and 2 digital output channels (supporting relays or ordinary switches) for status monitoring and control signal output.
The analog resolution reaches 16 bits, ensuring high-precision measurement.
Communication Capability
Uses Modbus RTU protocol, supports RS-485 bus, communication rate can be selected from 9600/19200/38400 bps, the longest communication distance is up to 1200 meters (using appropriate lines).
It can be seamlessly integrated with the EPRO MMS6000 series monitoring and protection system, or interconnected with other DCS/SCADA systems through protocol conversion.
Fault Diagnosis and Protection
The module has built-in self-check function, which can monitor the status of the measurement circuit in real time. When a fault occurs, it outputs an indication and locks the alarm to prevent incorrect actions.
Supports relay capacity AC 250V/2A or DC 30V/2A, which can directly drive the alarm or trip circuit.
