The EPRO PR6424/000-030-CN CON021 vibration probe is a high-precision eddy current proximity sensor system under the EPRO brand of Emerson. It is composed of the PR6424/000-030-CN CON021 sensor and the CON021 preamplifier, and is mainly used for non-contact measurement of parameters such as shaft vibration and shaft displacement in rotating machinery.
Product core functions
Non-contact measurement
Based on the principle of eddy current effect, it can achieve high-precision measurement without contacting the measured object, avoiding mechanical wear and suitable for long-term monitoring of high-speed rotating machinery (such as steam turbines, compressors, fans, etc.).
Multi-parameter measurement capability
Axial vibration: Captures dynamic vibration signals, with frequency range covering typical mechanical vibration frequency bands (such as 5Hz – 1kHz).
Axial displacement: Measures axial and radial displacements, with the range typically being ±0.5mm to ±4mm (specific models such as PR6423/015-000 cover ±1mm).
Other parameters: Supports static and dynamic displacement measurements such as shaft eccentricity, bearing wear, oil film thickness, and crack detection.
High precision and linearity
Linear error ≤ 1.0% (depending on the model and measurement range), resolution can reach micrometer level (0.1μm).
The output signal is a DC voltage superimposed with an AC voltage signal, for analysis by the monitoring system.

Technical features and advantages
High reliability design
The sensor probe is equipped with a stainless steel housing, which has strong corrosion resistance and can adapt to harsh industrial environments.
The cable is resistant to high temperatures (up to +200℃) and can be selected as armored cable to enhance anti-interference capability.
Compliant with international standards such as API 670, DIN 45670, and ISO 10817-1 to ensure measurement accuracy. Environmental adaptability
Waterproof, moisture-proof, gas-proof (for natural gas), helium-proof, oil-proof and organic compound-proof (such as benzene), applicable to industries such as chemical, petroleum and power.
The explosion-proof level can reach Eex ib IIC T6/T4, and it can be safely used in flammable and explosive environments.
Modular and flexibility
The sensor and the preamplifier are connected through LEMO plugs or screw terminals, making installation convenient.
Various probe sizes (such as Φ6mm, Φ10mm, Φ18mm) and thread specifications (such as M6×0.5, M10×1) are provided to meet different installation requirements.
Strong anti-interference ability
The low-impedance output design effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference and can work stably near frequency converters and high-power motors.
The shielding layer needs to be grounded at one end to avoid parallel laying of signal lines with other power cables.
