About the 489-P5-HI-A20-E
The 489-P5-HI-A20-E is a generator management relay that is manufactured by GE Multilin as part of the 489 Generator Management Series. This relay has 5A phase CT secondaries and a HI control power of 90-300 VDC and 70265 VAC at 48-62 Hz. The analog outputs on this relay are 4 to 20 mA. This 489-P5-HI-A20-E relay has an enhanced display with a larger LCD than the basic display generally serves as an upgrade from the 489-P5-HI-A20 basic display version. The 489-P5-HI-A20-E is the most installed relay in the 489 Generator Protection Series and as a result is a high demand relay. The 489-P5-HI-A20-E has the following features built-in to the relay.

The 489 Enervista 489PC Software is utilized along with the 489-P5-HI-A20-E to allow the user to interact and program the relay from a PC. Additionally, a SR489-CASE draw-out case is included with new 489-P5-HI-A20-E and can be included with refurbished relays upon request.
