DS200FCGDH1BAA is part of GE LS2100 series board. It is a an interface board, which between the LCI control and the bridge. The board decodes SCR firing information from the DSPC processor board , and distributes cell gating signals for each bridge leg. The FCGD scales and processes bridge feedback signals, then sends status information back to the DSPC. This information includes voltage, frequency, current, current difference, zero-crossing, commutation, flux, ground fault, and overcurrent feedback. The FCGD communicates with the DSPC via the VME backplaneIt connects with bridge through fiber-optic cables.
