GE IS200TSVOH1BCC Product Features:
Channel Setting: It is a 2-channel I/O board that accepts two servo channels. Each channel can connect up to 6 total feedback sensors and can accept LVDT or LV DR feedback from 0 to 7.0Vrms.
Terminal Type: It adopts barrier-type terminal blocks, which are installed on one long board side and can accept inputs from two servo current sources through these two I/O channels.
Sensor Connection: Each terminal block allows up to three LVDT or LV DR feedback sensors to be connected, which can be high selection, medium selection or low selection. Pulse rate input is between 2-14kHz.
Configurable interrupt function: It has configurable interrupt function, which can be flexibly set according to actual needs to meet different control requirements.
GE IS200TSVOH1BCC Functional Description:
The Servo Input/Output (TSVO) terminal board interfaces with two electro-hydraulic servo valves that actuate the steam/fuel valves. Valve position is measured with LVDTs.
Up to six cables connect to each TSVO. The JR1, JS1, and JT1 connectors connect to the backplane, and for liquid fuel JR5, JS5, and JT5 to the front panel. Each TSVO can connect to three VSVOs. TSVO provides simplex signals through the JR1 connector, and fans out TMR signals to the JR1, JS1, and JT1 connectors. Plugs JD1 or JD2 are for an external trip from the protection module.

There are three variations of the TSVO board.
Version
Description
H1B
The original TSVO includes all versions prior to and including TSVOH1B.
H2B
The IS200TSVOH1BCC uses different LVDT excitation transformers to increase the ability of the transformer to withstand dc offset without saturation.
With some applications using the H1B, an excitation transient that introduces a momentary dc offset can result in a persistent waveshape distortion. This introduces approximately 35 mV rms reduction in the value of the excitation voltage. Applications with short-stroke valves magnify the effect of this phenomenon. In some applications this has produced as much as a 5% change in the apparent value position feedback, without any actual valve motion. When using these short-stroke valves, some applications that use multiple position feedback devices (LVDT or LVDR) to provide redundancy, monitor, and alarm the individual feedback values can experience valve position spread alarms. The TSVOH2B version was specifically created so that boards could be ordered and tracked with this special transformer.
H1C
The TSVOH1C includes an enhanced excitation transformer, and adds a small dc injection on the LVDT inputs. This improves the system’s ability to detect the presence of an open wire on the feedback connections. This feature flows approximately 1 mA of dc current in the LVDT feedback connection and has no affect on the measurement of ac position feedback signals. It provides an enhanced out-of-range 8 V dc indication should the LVDT input fail open-circuit. Resistance in the circuit, such as is introduced by intrinsic safety (zener) barriers, will interact with this current to produce an offset voltage that may reduce the accuracy and effective range of the LVDT feedback signal.
