About the 489-P1-LO-A20-E
The 489-P1-LO-A20-E is a 489 Generator Management Relay from Multilin. This unit has 1A phase CT inputs, a control voltage of 20 to 60VDC or 20 to 48 VAC @ 48-62 Hz. The unit has a large LCD enhanced display and 4-20 mA analog inputs.
As part of GE’s SR family of relays, the 489-P1-LO-A20-E offers cost-effective protection and control packaged with advanced communications. This unit is designed to pair with small to medium-sized generators to give protection and to reduce troubleshooting time. The unit is easy to use and offers analog inputs for vibration monitoring along with RTDs for bearing thermal protection.
The 489-P1-LO-A20-E has a large, easy-to-read front panel with a forty character display located along its top edge. This display allows users to view setpoints and actual value messages as well as diagnostic and default messages. The front panel is fitted with a numeric keypad, value up and down keys, a program port interface, multiple status indicators, as well as control and programming keys. The bottom edge of the front panel includes a draw out handle that can be fitted with a wire lead seal to prevent unauthorized removal.
The unit supports direct integration into the majority of DCS and SCADA systems. The unit supports DNP 3.0, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP/IP. The ground on this unit meets C37.90 EMI, SWC, RFI interference immunity.
