The advanced communications package adds copper/fiber Ethernet and support for IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus TCP/IP, and DNP3.0 protocols. This unit has CT supervision as well as metering capability for power, energy, and voltage. This model has a drawout case, which simplifies processes that require the user to access the internal components of the relay.

As a high-voltage model, the 350-EP1G1HESNM3EDN uses a 120-240VAC/125-250VDC power supply. This model uses 1A current inputs for ground and three-phase currents. This unit comes with the series-standard control features of lockout relay and cold load pickup. The current protections on this model include phase/neutral/ground instantaneous overcurrent and phase/neutral/ground time overcurrent. This model is not coated in harsh environment conformal coating.
