LG1093AA03 flame sensor is designed to detect ultraviolet radiation emitted by hydrocarbon flames and convert the measurement results into pulse outputs related to the intensity of ultraviolet radiation. According to the programmable threshold setting, the control system is able to determine whether there is a flame. The product has the advantages of high sensitivity, large spectral area, long service life, low maintenance cost, etc., without the need for installation modification or change of controls.

Working principle
It works with ultraviolet-sensitive cold cathode tubes based on the Geiger-Mueller principle. The detection tube is filled with gas and contains an anode and a cathode. When the ultraviolet light of 1850 to 2600 angstroms reaches the tube, it forces the gas to emit electrons and generate ions in the tube. As the ultraviolet light continues to irradiate, electrical signals will continue to be generated.
