I. Core Functions
Dual Web Plate Tension Measurement and Transmission: The T8200 module is equipped with two web plate tension measurement channels, supporting real-time data transmission via the Profibus protocol. The step response time of measurement value 1 is matched with the voltage output characteristic, while that of measurement value 2 is matched with the current output characteristic. This design enables it to flexibly adapt to the control requirements of different industrial scenarios.
Guaranteed Data Transmission Stability: The module uses a 16-bit 2’s complement format (integer 16) to represent measurement values, providing high-precision data and a wide dynamic range. Its measurement value scaling function does not affect the accuracy and stability of Profibus transmission, ensuring accurate data transmission even when the measurement value size changes. If zero setting has been performed, the zero value will also be synchronously transmitted via Profibus, further enhancing data consistency.
High-Efficiency Data Processing Capability: Some models may integrate DMA (Direct Memory Access) control functionality, enabling efficient data movement. This feature maintains high-speed and stable performance when processing large-scale data, meeting the real-time requirements of industrial automation systems.

Technical Characteristics
Data Representation and Precision: Each measurement value is represented in a 16-bit two’s complement format, providing 65,536 levels of quantization accuracy. This enables precise capture of minute changes and is suitable for industrial scenarios requiring high-resolution control.
Transmission Protocol Compatibility: Communication with the host computer or other devices is achieved via the Profibus protocol, supporting a distributed control system architecture and facilitating integration into existing industrial networks.
Modular Design: As a member of the ICS TRIPLEX series, the T8200 module adheres to the brand’s Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) design concept. Some models may support hot-swapping and online replacement, reducing system downtime.
