ProSoft PLX32-EIP-MBTCP is a high-performance EtherNet/IP to Modbus TCP/IP communication gateway, suitable for high-speed bidirectional data transmission between different protocol devices in industrial automation systems. Here is a detailed introduction about this gateway:
I. Core Functions
Protocol Conversion
Supports EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols, enabling seamless communication between Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric’s PACs (Programmable Automation Controllers).
Provides multiple client and server functions to achieve faster data transmission.
Multi-protocol Subnet Isolation
Equipped with two independent Ethernet ports, allowing each protocol to reside on a different subnet, enabling cross-subnet data transmission without changing the device IP addresses.
Data Priority Management
Supports multiple I/O connections, allowing different request data intervals (RPI) to be set for status and control data to ensure the real-time nature of critical data.
