Main Processor Modules Triconex 3008

Model 3008 main processor (MP) can be used in Tricon v9.6 and higher systems. For detailed specifications, see “Tricon System Planning and Installation Guide”.

Three MPs must be installed in the main frame of each Tricon system. Each MP independently communicates with its I/O subsystem and executes control programs written by users. Sequence of Events (SOE) and Time Synchronization During each scan, MP will check the specified discrete variables to understand state changes, that is, events. When an event occurs, MP saves the current variable status and time stamp in the buffer of the SOE block.
