WOODWARD 8237-1246 PROTECH-GII | safety device overspeed protection.The Woodward 8237-1246 is part of the ProTech-GII Series, designed as an overspeed detection system for turbines. It is capable of safely shutting down hydro, steam, and gas turbines if they are detected to be overaccelerating. This system is equipped with MPU detection and is resistant to sulfur, H2S, and SO2 gases. The 8237-1246 features a triple modular design, allowing for easy replacement of parts while the product is in operation.
