The XVME-085 and XVME-087 prototype fabrication modules are powerful yet cost-effective prototype fabrication modules used on the VMEbus. You can obtain all the necessary circuits to generate all the signals required by the VMEbus specification for 8-bit and 16-bit slave devices. By adding application circuits, you can design your own VMEbus slave module.
The core of the XVME-085 and XVME-087 prototype modules is the Non-Intelligent Kernel (NIKL). This is a proven design used by Xycom in its standard non-intelligent v-mebus I/O modules. The modules provide a 35.5-inch (XVME 085) or 11.5-inch (XVME-087) grid prototype area, suitable for winding prototype components.
