Installation Position and Usage
Installation location: Rotor collector ring at the rear end of the generator (slip ring), connecting to the rotor circuit of the converter, transmitting rotor excitation electrical energy
Core function: Stationary carbon brush → Rotating slip ring conductive, is a key vulnerable component of the doubly-fed wind turbine rotor frequency conversion circuit; excessive wear will cause generator grounding and converter reporting rotor overcurrent faults
