AB 1797-PS2N2 Intrinsically safe power module

Product Description

Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell Automation) 1797‑PS2N2 is an intrinsically safe power supply of FLEX Ex series for 1797 FLEX Ex IS I/O system over ControlNet fieldbus. It can be mounted within hazardous locations. The module accepts 19~32VDC input and provides four independent intrinsically safe output channels with 8.5W per channel, limiting energy on the hazardous side for intrinsic safety. Dual redundant power input terminals and galvanic isolation between each output channel are implemented. It is housed in cast aluminum explosion-proof enclosure with 1” NPT conduit connections, supplying power for FLEX Ex I/O modules in oil & gas and chemical hazardous plants. This model was discontinued effective Dec 31, 2017 and widely used as maintenance spare for hazardous-area DCS/PLC instrument loops.
