ABB REF615 HBFDACADABC1ABN11G is a feeder protection and control IED within ABB Relion® 615 series, an integrated numerical relay for medium voltage feeders. It adopts withdrawable plug-in hardware design and integrates protection, control, measurement, fault recording and communication functions. It is designed for overhead lines and cable feeders, compatible with both conventional instrument transformers and electronic sensors. It features multi-frequency admittance based earth fault protection, fault location, optional arc flash protection. It supports IEC61850 Ed1/Ed2 including GOOSE, HSR, PRP and IEC61850-9-2LE, and is also compatible with Modbus, DNP3 and IEC60870-5-103 protocols. Equipped with graphical LCD display, it supports local HMI operation and web-based remote HMI access. Widely deployed in distribution substations and industrial MV switchgear for feeder fault protection and substation automation.
