MAE99‑04‑COM30 is an 8‑channel serial interface isolation unit of Alstom (ex‑Converteam) MAE99‑04 series. Suffix ‑COM30 denotes specific communication firmware configuration. It provides galvanic isolation for RS‑232 / RS‑422 / RS‑485 serial signals to eliminate ground‑loop interference and protect main control system from field surge and common‑mode noise. Each channel is galvanically isolated for bidirectional serial communication. On‑board channel LED indicators support on‑site troubleshooting. DIN‑rail cabinet mounting. This model is end‑of‑life, only available as spare‑part for legacy power plant and drive‑system maintenance.
