Product Description
Applicom PCI 1500 S7 VER 4 is an industrial PCI bus communication board by Woodhead (Applicom), Version 4. It is designed for high-speed S7 protocol communication between PC host and Siemens S7 series PLCs. Equipped with an on-board independent processor, all communication tasks run locally on the card without consuming host CPU resources. It features PROFIBUS DB9 interface, supporting S7 protocol, FDL and PROFIBUS DP master/slave functions. It provides multiple software interfaces including OPC, DDE and ActiveX for SCADA, HMI and PC-based data acquisition. It is a common spare part for legacy industrial PC projects, widely used for industrial system retrofits and obsolete system replacement.
