Product Description

Model: 3500/42M with rear terminal card PN 128240-01, Brand Bently Nevada (Baker Hughes), 4-channel Proximitor / Seismic Monitor for 3500 TSI machinery protection system. Split front & rear card structure; 128240-01 is the matching rear I/O terminal backplane. The module accepts signals from eddy current proximity probes, seismic velocity and accelerometer transducers for multi-parameter vibration and shaft position monitoring. Channels are programmed in pairs and configurable for radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, shaft absolute vibration, acceleration and velocity. It supports alert / danger setpoints, built-in signal conditioning and fault diagnostics, compliant with API670 and SIL2. It serves as core TSI protection card for steam turbines and compressors.

Application

Deployed in TSI protection systems for steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and large axial fans. It continuously monitors shaft vibration, bearing vibration, thrust position and differential expansion. When exceeding threshold values, it triggers pre-alarm or machine trip interlock to protect rotating equipment. Vibration data is uploaded to SCADA and System1 for fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance. Widely used as spare parts for maintenance of legacy power and petrochemical machinery.
