Product Description
60R/PPM01‑02‑2 is the Protection Processing Module (PPM) for Bently Nevada (Baker Hughes) Orbit 60 series machinery protection and condition monitoring system. It is the core computing unit of the protection system, slot‑mounted in system chassis. This module processes real‑time sensor signals including vibration, displacement and temperature, performs measurement calculation, alarm and trip logic judgment, and outputs protection interlock signals. It supports state‑based alarming. Multiple PPM modules can be deployed in parallel for capacity expansion, and redundant configuration is recommended for critical machinery with SIL‑2 functional safety compliance. Configuration, system capacity evaluation and fault diagnosis are implemented via Orbit Studio software. On‑board OK and LINK LED indicators facilitate on‑site maintenance.
