Product Description
X20BC1083 is a POWERLINK expandable bus controller of B&R X20 series. It functions as a POWERLINK controlled node to connect X2X Link local I/O stations to POWERLINK real-time Ethernet fieldbus. Equipped with an integrated 2-port hub and up to 2 slots for additional interface modules, it supports extension of other fieldbus such as PROFINET and EtherNet/IP. It complies with POWERLINK V1/V2, supports Dynamic Node Allocation (DNA). The X2X Link cycle can be synchronized with POWERLINK. It supports on-bus I/O configuration and firmware update, with LED diagnostic indicators. This part is active from OEM and widely used as communication spare part for X20 distributed I/O system.
