The original DEIF factory standard AOP-1 cable is only 0.5 meters long. The manual clearly states: The theoretical maximum distance for serial communication is only 0.5 meters. The factory does not recommend extending it. It is only used in special ship/电站 cabinet split layouts with the 150036482 series extension cables.

Four. Risks of Use and Debugging Points
Communication attenuation risk
After extending by more than 0.5 meters， electromagnetic interference is likely to occur： LED flashing， button no response， panel disconnection； 12 meters is an extremely long specification. Construction must be done separately in a shielded conduit， away from power cables.
Installation specifications
Shield layer grounded at one end (only the DU-2 side is connected to the cabinet ground， the AOP-1 end is floating)
Cable routing should avoid contactors， frequency converters， and large current cables， with a spacing of ≥ 30cm
Software confirmation
After powering on， use the DEIF USW software to read the panel. If the AOP-1 is not recognized， check this extension cable’s shielding grounding first.
