Product Description
DEIF PCM5-2 (PCM5·2) Power and Control Module is the high-end main processor module of DEIF AWC500 series. It adopts 1 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU and runs PREEMPT_RT real-time patched Linux OS. Designed for harsh industrial, marine and offshore environments, it features powerful computing capacity and multiple high-speed communication interfaces. As the core main control unit of AWC500 automation system, it handles system calculation, logic processing and data exchange. It can work with expansion modules such as IOM5·1 and PDM5·1, supports mSATA storage expansion and has built-in RTC lithium battery.

Application
It serves as the main controller of AWC500 system, widely used in marine vessels, offshore platform genset control and power management PMS system. Also applied in industrial automation, power distribution protection and diesel generator automation. It realizes grid monitoring, generator start/stop, synchronization, load sharing and protection logic calculation, suitable for offshore engineering, captive power plants and marine power distribution with extreme temperature conditions.
