Product Description
RMP‑121D is a reverse power protection relay (ANSI code 32) manufactured by DEIF, DenmarkDEIF. It is designed for parallel‑running generator sets to monitor power flow and prevent generator motoring condition, which protects prime movers and generators from mechanical damage. Adopting TDM time‑division multiplication measurement principle, it accurately measures true RMS power regardless of waveform distortion. Setpoints of reverse power threshold and trip delay are adjustable via front‑panel potentiometers. LED indicators show power supply, reverse‑power pre‑alarm and relay trip status. It supports 35 mm DIN‑rail or base mounting, and is approved by major marine classification societies for marine and land‑based power generation systemsDEIF.

Applications
- Marine power systems: Multi‑generator parallel operation on vessels. Protect diesel/gas‑turbine prime movers against motoring when prime mover torque is lost, widely used in marine switchboardsDEIF.
- Land‑based standby generator plants: Multi‑generator parallel systems for factories, data centers and power stations.
- Distributed power & emergency power systems: Prevent unit damage and grid overload caused by reverse power in parallel‑generator installations.
- Part of DEIF generator protection product family; interchangeable series includes RMP‑111D (overload protection) and RMP‑112D (overload + reverse‑power protection)DEIF …
