I. Product Positioning
DPI 104-IS is an intrinsically safe explosion-proof version of a high-precision digital standard pressure gauge. IS = Intrinsically Safe (intrinsically safe). It can be used as a local pressure display instrument at the site, or as a portable standard gauge for calibrating pressure transmitters, pressure switches, and local pressure gauges in explosion-hazardous areas of petrochemical, oil and gas, and power plants.
The ordinary blue shell is for the DPI104 standard model, and the yellow shell DPI104-IS is the dedicated model for intrinsically safe explosion-proof applications.
Core Technical Parameters Measurement accuracy
Accuracy: 0.05% FS, including all errors such as non-linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, and temperature drift from -10℃ to 50℃, belonging to the industrial-grade standard calibration table level.
Display: 5-digit high-definition LCD, equipped with 20 pressure bar graphs, allowing for intuitive viewing of pressure proportions.
Support for 11 pressure unit conversions: MPa, bar, psi, kPa, mbar, kg/cm², mmH₂O, mH₂O, mmHg, inHg, inH₂O
Range and Pressure Resistance
Range coverage: Gauge pressure G / Absolute pressure A / Sealed gauge pressure SG selectable, ranging from 0.7 bar to 700 bar (10 psi to 10,000 psi)
Safety Pressure Resistance: Normal range can withstand overload twice the full scale; 1400 bar high-pressure range can withstand 29,000 psi at -10℃ to 50℃, with strong shock resistance
Pressure Interface
≤70 MPa range: Standard 1/4″ NPT or BSPP external threads
100 MPa / 140 MPa high-pressure range: 9/16 × 18 UNF conical threads, can be equipped with various adapters to adapt to on-site pressure connection ports
Media Compatibility
Contacting components: Stainless steel / Inconel Incolar alloy, capable of measuring most corrosive gases, liquids, and vapors
Shell: Anti-static ABS + PC material, IP65 dustproof and waterproof, suitable for outdoor and humid sites

Obtained ATEX, IECEx, CSA intrinsically safe explosion-proof certifications, explosion-proof level II 1G EEx ia IIC T4/T6
Can be directly used in 0 zone, 1 zone, 2 zone flammable and explosive gas hazardous areas (oil gas stations, hydrogen production stations, chemical explosion-proof workshops)
Communication / External Accessories must use compatible intrinsically safe cables;严禁 connecting ordinary non-explosion-proof cables to hazardous areas
Practical Functions
Pressure switch testing: Automatically captures switch action values (on / off pressure), making it very convenient to calibrate on-site pressure alarm switches
Peak / trough recording, reset of weight, high and low pressure alarm settings
RS232 serial communication: Combined with SiCal Pro software, can collect data on a computer, generate calibration certificates, and export data for archiving; supports multi-instrument chain serial networking
Built-in rotating adjustable bracket, dial can rotate at multiple angles, facilitating on-site reading
Battery power supply, portable use, no need for external power supply
