EMG 235990, full model SMI2-11.3, is an evaluation control board for the SMI inductive strip center measuring system manufactured by EMG Automation Germany. This circuit board processes position signals from inductive sensors, calculates the offset of metal strip center in real time. It is equipped with CANopen bus interface to transmit position data to the superior web guiding controller for non-contact strip center detection. Application

Widely used in steel, aluminum, copper foil, continuous annealing furnace and metal sheet rolling lines. It performs non-contact center position detection of metal strips.
