Product Description
FOXBORO IP26-1000 is a Current-to-Pneumatic (I/P) converter of the IP26 series, manufactured by Foxboro (Schneider Electric). It is an explosion-proof, 2-wire loop-powered instrument. It linearly converts 4–20mA electric signal into proportional pneumatic output pressure. Adopting low-mass control circuit design, it performs well under high vibration. With dual Intrinsically Safe / Explosion-proof certifications, it can be mounted on pipe, bracket or manifold directly. Some variants are equipped with built-in volume booster to drive pneumatic actuators widely used for valve control loops in process industries.

Application
Oil & gas, refinery, chemical, power plant, water treatment and hazardous process areas. It receives 4–20mA control signal from DCS or PLC and converts it to pneumatic pressure to modulate pneumatic control valves, globe valves and ball valves. It acts as the key interface between electronic control system and pneumatic valve actuators.
