I. Basic Positioning
The GE Speedtronic Mark V (MK V) gas / steam turbine control system DS200 series, which is installed in front of the cabinet, is a dedicated human-machine operation terminal (HMI panel) for N1 OC2000 specifically designed for on-site monitoring of power plants and gas turbine plants. The original factory has discontinued it, and the ones available on the market are mainly dismantled spare parts and end-of-inventory leftovers.
Core Functions
1. Real-time local monitoring: Equipped with an integrated display screen + film buttons, it directly reads the voltage, frequency, active/reactive power, excitation current voltage, equipment temperature, and various fault alarm codes of the unit; it displays C1/C2/P type unit faults and power supply abnormal information in separate sections.
2. Local control and debugging: Supports on-site start-stop of the unit, adjustment of operating parameters, and query and diagnosis of fault codes, and can complete on-site inspection and debugging without an external upper computer.
3. System interconnection communication: Connects to the Mark V main control card via Drive local network, Ethernet, and RS232 interface, synchronously collects on-site I/O signals, and transmits operation data to the upper-level DCS system.
4. Complementary power supply combination: The standard partner is the `DS2020DACAG1` power module. The entire unit is embedded on the front of the turbine control cabinet, and the operation is convenient.

Product Features
1. Strong Scene Adaptability: The interface is optimized for the turbine generator set, with clear divisions for operation, alerts, and diagnostic modules, making it easy for first-line operation and maintenance personnel to get started quickly.
2. Robust Anti-interference: Designed with industrial-grade boards, it can withstand on-site vibrations and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for long-term uninterrupted operation in power plants.
3. Easy Replacement: The backplane has a standard slot structure, and panels of the same series of OC2000 can be directly plugged in and replaced.
4. Limited Compatibility**: It is only compatible with the old Mark V system and cannot be directly used in the new-generation Mark VIe control system.
Typical Application Scenarios
Large-scale gas/steam turbine local control cabinets, local monitoring workstations for power generation plants’ power units, used for daily inspections, on-site start-stop operations, and fault troubleshooting. It is the core human-machine interaction component of the old GE turbine control system.
