Product Description

GE (Former GE Fanuc, Emerson) IC695CMM002 is a 2-channel isolated serial communication module for PACSystems RX3i PLC. Single-slot plug-in card for RX3i rack to expand serial communication capacity. It has two independent isolated RJ45 serial ports. Each port is software configurable for RS232 / RS422 / RS485. Supported protocols include Modbus RTU Master/Slave, DNP3 Master/Slave, CCM Slave and Serial I/O free protocol. Galvanic isolation between ports and between ports & backplane eliminates ground loop noise. Up to six such modules can be fitted in one main rack. Hot-swap supported. Onboard LED indicators for module and port diagnostics. Configured via Proficy Machine Edition software to connect transmitters, drives and third-party serial devices, acting as key serial expansion unit for RX3i control system.
