GE IS215VCMIH2CB (VCMI) is a VME Bus Master Communications Interface Board for GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system, a core communication card for TMR triple modular redundant architecture. It is equipped with TI TMS320C32 32-bit DSP. As IONet system control network master, it coordinates data exchange between control racks and I/O expansion racks, manages ID recognition of all modules and terminal boards inside the rack, and delivers high-speed deterministic real-time communication among main processors, I/O modules and protection modules. Front panel has 3 IONet (10Base2 coax) ports, RS232 debug serial port, run/fault LED indicators and reset button. Widely deployed on gas and steam turbine controls in power plants to ensure synchronization and reliable data voting for TMR systems.
