Product Description

GE IS220YSILS1A is a SIL-rated Safety Input Module for GE Mark VIeS safety control system, designed for ESD protection loops of gas turbines and steam turbines. It features 8 isolated safety digital input channels for safety-related dry contact signals such as emergency stop, limit switches, pressure switches and flame switches, certified to IEC61508 SIL2. Built-in channel self-diagnosis, wire break and short-circuit detection, it reports fault status to Mark VIeS controller in real time. Packaged as pluggable I/O Pack, it communicates with main controller via Mark VIe high-speed I/O bus for safety instrumented systems of critical power units. This model is end-of-life and available only as spare parts for legacy combined-cycle power plants and oil & gas turbine projects.
