Product Description

GE IS400TCATH1ACB (IS400TCATHIACB is transcription error) is the TCA Thermocouple Input Terminal Board for Speedtronic Mark VIe turbine control system, working together with IS230PCAAH1B PCAA analog I/O pack. It is designed for field thermocouple temperature signal termination. The board integrates cold junction compensation (CJC), EMI filtering and open thermocouple fault detection, with built-in surge suppression protection. Field side uses screw terminals, and it connects to PCAA pack via flat ribbon cable. It supports simplex, dual and TMR triple modular redundancy. It is installed inside Mark VIe I/O rack and powered by 28VDC backplane, engineered for power plants with heavy electromagnetic interference, serving as dedicated interface board for turbine temperature acquisition.

Product Application

Matched with Mark VIe PCAA analog I/O pack to collect thermocouple temperature signals of gas turbines, steam turbines and combined-cycle power plants. It monitors temperature of turbine casing, flue gas, bearings and other critical points for unit temperature protection and condition monitoring. Widely deployed in thermal power plants and combined-cycle gas power stations for unit retrofit and spare part replacement. It is a critical spare part for turbine temperature measurement loops.
