Honeywell 2108B2051N Searchpoint Optima Plus is a fixed point infrared hydrocarbon gas detector with MED marine certification. It adopts NDIR infrared sensing principle, immune to catalytic bead poisons, equipped with built-in self-diagnosis and false alarm rejection algorithm, fail-safe design. Explosion-proof housing with IP66/IP67 protection, suitable for corrosive offshore and marine environments. It detects hydrocarbon combustible gases such as methane, ethane and propane, widely used as spare parts for oil & gas and marine projects.

Application

The marine version complies with marine standards for engine room and cargo hold gas monitoring on vessels.
