Product Description
ICS TRIPLEX T8402C is a serial communication interface module for Trusted TMR triple modular redundant safety system, certified to IEC61508 SIL3. Equipped with multiple serial communication channels, it acts as an external data gateway for the safety system to exchange data between Trusted rack and 3rd-party devices including DCS, SCADA and smart field instruments. It supports Modbus RTU master/slave mode. Hot-swap is available; single channel fault will not interrupt system operation. It has comprehensive hardware self-diagnosis, fault LED indicators and event logging functions. Widely deployed in SIS safety instrumented systems for data interconnection between safety controllers and upper-level control systems in oil, gas, chemical and power industries.
