Product Description
The METRIX 5485C-007-040 is a high-performance high-temperature moving-coil vibration velocity sensor manufactured by METRIX USA. It is specially developed for high-temperature rotating machinery such as gas turbines and steam turbines, serving as a core sensing component for condition monitoring of key equipment in power, petrochemical and heavy industry fields.
Adopting the classic moving-coil electromagnetic induction measurement principle, the sensor is equipped with a friction-free coil suspension structure and a dual circular anti-twist spider spring support system. Combined with a pure viscous electromagnetic damping design, it completely avoids measurement signal distortion and drift. It features stable frequency response curve, high measurement accuracy, excellent repeatability and strong anti-cross-axis interference capability. It can adapt to a wide temperature range from -54℃ to 375℃, and is one of the few industrial sensors suitable for long-term high-temperature shell monitoring of gas turbines.
With a sturdy and shock-resistant overall structure, it adopts a standard 4-hole flat base mounting design, compatible with mainstream gas turbine mounting bases, and can be stud-mounted with an 8531 adapter base for strong compatibility. Maintenance-free for daily use, it can operate stably online for a long time, accurately collect equipment vibration velocity data, and provide reliable data support for unit fault early warning, interlock protection and equipment operation and maintenance.
