Product Description

Parker GV6U12ENK-13669 is an all-in-one servo drive / motion controller of Gemini GV6 series, from Parker Compumotor division. Suffix 13669 refers to custom firmware version. U12 stands for universal voltage rating with 12A continuous output. It integrates servo amplifier and standalone motion controller in one unit, able to run motion sequences without separate motion card. It supports electronic cam, electronic gearing, S-curve profiling, registration positioning and event-triggered motion. Compatible with incremental encoder feedback, equipped with RS232/RS485 serial port, 8 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs. Fieldbus expansion is optional. It features auto-tuning and notch filters for mechanical resonance suppression. This model is obsolete and mainly used as spare replacement for legacy imported automation machinery.

Product Application

It performs motion control for automated standalone machines, such as cutting machines, labelers, packaging equipment, machine tool feed axes, test benches and gantry positioning systems. It can execute pre-programmed motion offline and respond to sensor triggers for synchronization and positioning. It also accepts pulse or analog commands from host PLC. Widely deployed for overhaul and retrofit of older European & American machinery as Gemini GV6 spare replacement.
