6DU2173-0CA00-0AX0 is the MSC CPU main controller module for Siemens SPPA-T3000 DCS system, compatible with AS3000 and CS3000 automation controller platforms. As the core processing unit, it executes control logic, processes process data and manages backplane & network communication. It supports non-redundant standalone mode or dual hot-standby redundant configuration; bumpless switchover is available under redundant mode to guarantee continuous operation for high-availability applications such as power plants. It is 1-slot rack mount with industrial-grade hardware. Separate AS/CS3000 software license is required.
