Product Description
SYMAP-BCG is a multifunctional digital generator protection monitor from French SYMAP series. It adopts triple-microprocessor architecture with hardware watchdog and redundant critical circuits, integrating measurement, protection, control, fault recording and communication in one unit. Equipped with LCD screen and LED status indicators, built-in programmable logic. It can manage up to 5 main circuit breakers and implement full ANSI protection functions. It stores up to 5000 time-stamped event records and supports continuous hardware self-diagnosis. Multiple communication ports including RS232, CANBUS and Ethernet enable connection with MTU and GE gas turbine control systems. It is widely applied in marine power plants, land-based generator sets and medium/high voltage distribution systems. This model is discontinued by manufacturer and used as spare part for power system maintenance.

Product Application
It is deployed in marine power stations, land gas/diesel generator sets, small synchronous generators and medium/high voltage distribution circuits. It measures voltage, current, frequency and power in real time and executes complete generator relay protection. It outputs trip signals to avoid generator damage during faults. It supports breaker sequence control, interlock and blocking. Event log and fault recording assist failure analysis. It can be interlocked with prime mover controls (MTU, gas turbine). Widely used for replacement of legacy generator protection equipment on ships and captive power plants.
