TRICONEX 3506X Digital Input Module

Product Description

TRICONEX 3506X is a 32-channel supervised Digital Input (DI) module of Schneider Tricon CX series. It adopts TMR Triple Modular Redundant 2oo3 voting architecture with IEC61508 SIL3 certification for SIS safety instrumented systems and ESD emergency shutdown systems. The module receives discrete signals from field dry contacts, NAMUR sensors, limit switches and emergency stop pushbuttons. It provides circuit supervision to detect wire open and short faults. Optically isolated design with online hot-swap capability; module replacement can be executed without system shutdown and rewiring. Used with dedicated termination boards, it is high-density DI critical spare for safety interlock systems in high-risk process industries.
