Product Description
TRICONEX 4610 is a UCM Unified Communication Module, the core communication gateway card for Schneider Tricon v11.x Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) Safety Instrumented System (SIS). It matches the 8120E enhanced performance chassis and 3009 main processor. Built on TMR 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, this module is equipped with fiber Ethernet and serial ports. It acts as an isolated gateway between safety domain and process control domain, enabling bidirectional data exchange between Tricon SIS controller, DCS, HMI, SCADA and field instruments. It supports FDSI field device integration, time synchronization and protocol conversion, certified for IEC 61508 SIL3. Hot-swap and online diagnostic functions are available. This is the standard version without PCB conformal coating, designed for dry control room environment. It is discontinued by original manufacturer and only supplied as spare part for maintenance of legacy SIS systems in petrochemical, power, oil & gas industries.
