I. Product Description
Triconex 8110 = Tricon 3000/V9/V10 SIS System – High-density Triple Redundant Main Chassis
This is the core chassis of the Triconex safety instrument system under Schneider. It features a SIL3-certified TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) architecture, and is used in high-security industrial scenarios such as ESD emergency stop, ITCC compressor interlock, BMS boiler flame safety, and FGS fire and gas detection.

The backplane is equipped with three independent isolation signal channels A/B/C, with a three-out-of-two voting mechanism. A single channel failure does not spread, and there is no single-point failure risk.
Expansion Buses
It comes with 6 triple RS485 local expansion buses, which can be externally connected to:
8111: Local expansion rack
8112: Remote expansion rack
A single system can mount up to 15 expansion racks, and the maximum extension distance of the local bus is compatible with the layout of the central control cabinet. Power supply
The rack supports dual redundant power module inputs, with AC 120/240V wide industrial mains power supply. The power module can be hot-swapped while the system remains in operation without interrupting the interlock.
