Product Description
TRICONEX DO3625 (also named 3625) is a TMR triple modular redundant supervised digital output module (SDO) of Tricon 3000 series, core I/O card for Safety Instrumented System (SIS). It adopts triple modular redundant architecture with three independent voting channels, single-point fault will not interrupt output, compliant with SIL3 safety level. It provides 32 channels of 24VDC digital outputs with load circuit supervision for open/short circuit detection. It communicates with main controller via TriBus backplane bus, with built-in self-test and online diagnostics. Hot-swap is supported. It drives solenoid valves, ESD trip relays and field alarm circuits, widely used for spare replacement in petrochemical, oil & gas and power safety interlock systems.

Product Application
It is deployed in SIS / ESD emergency shutdown systems for oil, gas, chemical and power plants. It receives interlock commands from Tricon main controller and sends discrete signals to drive emergency shutdown valves, solenoids, trip relays and audible/visual alarms. It continuously monitors output wiring faults and sends alarms once open/short circuit is detected. When hazardous process conditions occur, it executes emergency shutdown and feed cut-off actions. Commonly used for legacy Tricon3000 safety system retrofit and failed I/O card replacement.
