Product Description
Triconex HD8311 (formerly Invensys, now Schneider Electric) is a high-density power supply module for Tricon TMR triple modular redundant SIS safety instrumented systems. It powers Tricon main chassis, expansion chassis and remote expansion RXM chassis. The module accepts 24 VDC input and converts it to internal logic voltage to supply TMR processor cards and high-density I/O modules. Equipped with self-diagnosis, over-current, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. It supports hot swap and dual redundant power configuration, designed for high safety integrity level applications such as ESD emergency shutdown and F&G fire & gas systems. It meets industrial safety certifications to guarantee safe continuous operation for critical processes in petrochemical, oil & gas and power plants.
